We've all seen the urgent-sounding promotional messages for classes and conferences: "Early Bird Pricing Extended! Hurry!" or "Discount code only valid for the first 10 signups!" Event organizers use a variety of pricing incentives—early bird pricing, group discounts, friends and family coupons, referrer coupons, etc.—to make everyone think they're getting a deal.
Our experience is that such pricing incentives work. Everybody loves a sale. But such pricing models also create the potential for a very awkward moment when two participants sitting next to each other in a class discover that they paid wildly different prices. That's because in order to support such discounts, event organizers have to publish inflated retail prices. Participants then have to go on a treasure hunt to figure out how to get a good deal.
We've decided to opt out of that pricing game.
When we run a class here at Agilistry Studio, we want our pricing to be simple and transparent. We want everyone to know that they got the best deal available. And we want everyone to feel that they got a fair deal.
That means you won't find coupons for our classes anywhere. You also won't see us announce, "Hurry! Sale ends soon!"
Better yet, because we're not playing games with our prices, we can afford to keep our prices low. In some cases our prices are more than 50% less than the published retail prices advertised by other training companies for similar classes.
We think that's way better than a 20% off coupon. We hope you agree.
